Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt like an alien trying to navigate a world that wasn’t made for me. Creating images became my escape, a way to untangle my thoughts and confront fears of rejection shaped by body dysmorphia, ADHD, and a restless curiosity.
Over time, I learned to embrace imperfections and craft a world where we’re not broken but beautifully unfixable.

Raised between Amsterdam and Curaçao, Alaïa Fonk was drawn to spending as much time with image and sound possible. Always finding ways to create new concepts and stories. Following her fathers footsteps while exploring her own world and style, she is currently freelancing as director, art director and photographer around the world; always drawn by the mystery of the female body.
